[openrtm-users 03058] Compilation error under ubuntu: `Allocator.lo' is not a valid libtool object

Dear All, I am trying to compile OpenRTM-Aist under ubuntu linux 12.04.
configure runs without an error. When I run make I get an error saying

`Allocator.lo' is not a valid libtool object Can anyone give me a hint what
