Short Oral Presentation                       

  1. Speakers are requested to make a short oral presentation (5 minitues).
    Please confirm your presentation slot form the final program.
  2. Please send your presentation (Power Point File with the name  identical with your Presentation Number e.g. A01.ppt) to sii2009<at>m.aist.go.jp by 28th November 2009 at 12:00. (Just to be safe, please bring a USB memory with your presentation file)
  3. Please note that your short presentation file will put on the SII2009 web site after the symposium.
  4. Please keep your time slot strictly. The objective of the short talk is to invite the audience to your poster. We have no discussion time during the short presentation.

Poster Session                

  1. You have a space of two of the panel boards (870mm by 1720mm) for your poster.
    Two A0 (841mm×1189mm) papers are able to put on your space.
  2. Speakers are requested to prepare their posters in the booth before the opening sesseion (9:00). It is able to prepare your poster from 8:30.
  3. The poster session is scheduled from 60 minutes. Among the 60 minutes, former or latter 25 minutes are assigned as a core time for each presentation. During the core time, speakers are requested to make a presentation in front of their own poster.
  4. The former 25 minutes in each session are assigned as a core time for presentations whose numbers are odd (e.g. A01, A03, P01, P03 see last digit of the number), while the latter 25 minutes are assigned as a core time for presentations whose numbers are even (e.g. A02, A04, P02, P04).
  5. Speakers are requested to remove their posters after the end of poster session (15:45). If your poster remains put up even 15 minutes after the end of the session, symposium staff will remove it and throw it away in a garbage can.

  1. One power source (AC100 V, less than 1A ) is available for your PC.
  2. Please prepare extension cables or additional outlets by yourself  if needed.
  3. Any equipments are welcome for demonstration such as computers and robots at your own risk. Please avoid using any equipment that might cause problems such as noise and hazard.
