The RTSProfile specification allows the Preceding condition to specify any component as preceding its target. If a preceding component is marked as optional, the RTSProfile specified should be loadable and usable. However, if an optional component does not exist, and another component depends on it through a Preceding condition, the behaviour is undefined. In general, this is likely to cause plans to block or fail.
